Ocean Park Summer Art Show & Sale – August 6

34th Annual Ocean Park Illumination Night – August 6
The annual Ocean Park community festival of lights, music, and food is a collage of the activities celebrating the family-friendly spirit of Ocean Park. Illumination Night activities include a Strawberry Shortcake Festival, a concert by the Ocean Park Band, luminaries, an art show, and annual “walk about” from street to street. 8th Annual Seacoast Blues Festival – August 13
Come out to the Old Orchard Beach Ballpark for the Seacoast Blues Festival with blues bands from around the country. This event also features vendors selling a wide array of food, drinks and crafts. Learn more on Facebook.
39th Annual Beach Olympics – August 18 – 20
Three days of games and fun competitions including opening ceremony, live music and silent auction to benefit Special Olympics Maine. Visit web.oldorchardbeachmaine.com for more details.
26th Annual Breakaway 5K and Kids Fun Run – August 20
The annual Breakaway 5K and Kids Fun Run runs to Ocean Park and back and is mostly flat. 5K starts at 7:40am, Kid’s Fun Run at 9:05am, and both finish at The Brunswick for awards and breakfast. The best race of the summer! Get more details and register to participate at www.oobmaps.org.
Bikefest On The Pier – August 27
All day motorcycle show with live music, a giant pig roast and vendors. Ride your motorcycle to the pier! Hundreds of motorcycles on display. Learn more at www.oobpier.com.
