Having spent the last 16 summers vacationing in Old Orchard Beach with their 4 children, Jodi Ladakakos Field and Jason Field recently took the plunge and bought the White Lamb House and Cottages, just 1 block from their summer home on Odena Ave.

The White Lamb has built an excellent reputation over the past 18 years. That’s the length of time that the previous family (Lori & Rob Bassnett) owned and operated the property. Guests return year after year to enjoy the secluded location, family friendly environment and close proximity to the beach.

The property includes the quaint yellow and white Odessa Victorian House which neighbors the pink and white Odessa cottages. Both located at the corner of Odessa Ave and Seaside Avenue. Conveniently footsteps from the shoreline, only 3 houses in from the beach!

When asked why they chose to get into Maine lodging Jason replied “our business includes high end, long term and short term rentals in Massachusetts and Maine. Acquiring and maintaining the White Lamb Cottages and property made sense to us both. Also, we didn’t want to see the property picked up by a developer, taking away the charm and beauty of the property. We absolutely love the property and we think our future guests will to!”

The Odessa Victorian, a 5 bedroom house, sleeps up to 16 guests. It has beautiful wrap around porches that look out to the sea. It is available year round while the Cottages (one and two bedroom), with individual kitchenettes, are available to rent from the middle of April through the end of October with a 2 night minimum stay).
